“I played in a volleyball tournament today and felt SO much stronger than even just a few weeks ago when I played! It’s amazing. I was hitting again... and my lower back hasn’t hurt a bit. I’m so thankful!”
— - Hannah P.
My back doesn’t hurt anymore and my hips rarely hurt. I can deadlift more than my bodyweight, before I could barely lift my kids. I wouldn’t change this experience for anything. This has been one of the best decisions I have ever made.”

TulaFit for Her: Strength in Community

TulaFit for Her (TuffHer) is a unique and new kind of class that I brought to my Greeley community at the beginning of the year and then stopped because of Covid and basically life. This program has been in my heart for a long time and this is the start of making that happen.

Sometimes something lives in your heart but lies dormant as you try and navigate your daily life. It never fully goes away. Then BAM! That feeling, idea, CALLING whatever you want to name it comes. I need to put this program into the world, so here we are.

I want all women, especially moms, to have an inclusive, supportive and safe environment to build strength and thrive in a community of other women and moms supporting one another.

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I want to provide this opportunity to as many women as possible.

I’ll be going LIVE every Friday for 4 weeks. Each week will feature a workout from my program that is scalable for everyone. This first 4 weeks will focus on breathing, core, glute strength as well as some full body metabolic conditioning (metcons)while also learning strategies that you can implement into activities of everyday living!

I feel called to step up and give. More giving of my time, my knowledge, support to my community and of course my jokes (if you know you know). I want to GIVE YOU the opportunity to take 30-40 minutes for YOUR mental, physical and emotional well being- no matter your fitness level this is for you. Have you heard exercise makes you feel better? Totally true!

This will be a flexpay class, meaning you pay what you can. Normal class prices are $20 per class- you’ll have an option to pay as much as you’re able. I will be donating 50% of class proceeds this month to one of my favorite non profits, Smart Fit Girls.

This class will be a 45 minute strength and conditioning class. While this class will not specifically be geared towards pregnancy/postpartum or pelvic floor issues, I can provide pelvic floor and core considerations for navigating conditions like diastasis recti, pelvic organ prolapse, incontinence and other common issues. Let me know in the intake form. I will be leading the class through ZOOM- so turn on the cameras and join in. I’ll provide immediate feedback and different things to try as you need them. Plus you can join in and support the women around you. That’s my favorite part.

If you are newly postpartum I recommend checking our my postpartum fitness foundations program first! If you do have diastasis, prolapse, leaking, etc I would also recommend setting up a consult first to discuss strategies to help with your symptoms specifically.

This class will build and sustain strength and function so you can perform everyday activities, complement your current fitness routine, and keep you doing the things you love. All you’ll need is a resistance band, a mini band, something weighted (we can get creative here) and something to step on.

Easy. Simple. Let’s Go. This should be fun and unstressful! Kids are welcome (I’m sure mine will be making at appearance at some point- they love a good excuse to be in front of the camera as well as crawling all over me! Weighted objects covered!)

This class is for ALL women of ANY age. We all need a supportive environment to THRIVE in! Give to YOURSELF this month.

Think 30-40 minutes with amazing women, friends, and some sweat and strength gains mixed in!

Each class will offer:

  • learn breathing, position, and movement strategies

  • warmup

  • core and glute focus (I’m talking more than situps- we focus on the deep core here and building glutes so they are best friends with your pelvic floor!)

  • strength/conditioning workout

  • cool down

  • community and fun!

Class Details

Live via ZOOM every Friday in November at 9:45.

Can’t make a LIVE? The class will be recorded and housed in our private FaceBook group to replay at your own convenience.

Zoom Class size is limited- sign up early to guarantee your spot!

Recommended donation: $20 per class, but this is flex pay! Pay what you can. Serious. I want this accessible to everyone who wants to be here. In November, 50% of class proceeds will go to Smart Fit Girls nonprofit organization.

Click the link to register for your sessions, donate if you’re able, and be sure to join the brand new TulaFit for Her Facebook community.

Here is where WE give back to one another.

We support, cheer, listen, and have fun! It’s also where I’ll offer replays of the live class and educational material as well as help answer any questions you may have! Post your videos, wins, and what your thankful for this month (and always).

Here we go! Hope to see you in the TUFFHER Friday Live!

Things to know about TuffHer

1. This is not a “body back” or “bounce back” program. We focus on function and strength which can lead to aesthetic benefits but is not the intention of this class.

2. Each person may have their own unique considerations, progressions and strategies that must be considered. You may not be doing exactly what the person next to you is doing- that’s OK!

3. This class will bring awareness and educate on strategies that may benefit or help manage symptoms of diastasis recti, incontinence, hip/back pain and prolapse.

4. I strongly recommend meeting and working with a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist during pregnancy or when you receive the 6 week all clear check from your physician or midwife. A PFPT can assess you in ways your doctor or midwife won’t. In addition to working through these same strategies we learn in class, working with a PFPT was my gamechanger.

5. YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 6 WEEKS POSTPARTUM TO SIGN UP FOR THIS CLASS.
